If I cant go away
I'll leave mentally
take a trip to the pier
and wander into serenity
simplifying my life
by fantastical trips
to far away places
where I can be myself
at least for a little bit
Id sing these songs
in coffee shops and bars
not caring who is listening
until I wake up to passing cars
and realize that Im contemplating
on leaving
and that its aggrivating
to be deceiving
